The Very Best Cheesesteaks at the Beach (Posted: 07/20/2006)

Philly's Finest is located on route 54 (Lighthouse Road) about three blocks from the Fenwick Island Beach.  They opened just about a year ago and have a huge following.  Their rolls are fresh every day and their meats are either Dietz & Watson or Boars Head.  The propriator, Brian DeLuca, and his entire family have been in the 'deli' business for over twenty two years.  Aside from the normal Hogies and steaks, they offer cold cuts, Crab Critters (imperial stuffed), and a brand of soft drinks bottled only in Philadelphia.  One of these soft drinks is an Orange- Cream soda that is out of this world.

If you are having an event at the beach, They can prepare a sandwich tray that will keep your guests smiling.
